We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic, sincere, and caring service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered dental assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses in infection control, OSHA safety regulations and CPR certification.
Meet Our Staff:
Office Manager - Stephanie Brooks
Stephanie graduated from Creighton University with a degree in organizational communications and a minor in Business Management. She chose to go into the dental field so that she could use her degree to manage dental offices. Stephanie began working for Dr. Stafford in May, 2005, when she moved back to her native Omaha from Seattle. She has over 14 years experience in the dental field including assisting chair side, insurance claim filing, accounts payable and accounts receivable. While in Seattle she helped to create and implement the orthodontic program in six of her Seattle offices that she managed. Stephanie also has experience processing dental claims when she worked for an insurance company here in Omaha. Her comprehensive knowledge in these areas helps Dr. Stafford to run her office efficiently.
In her spare time she loves to cook, travel with her husband and spend quality time with her family. Stephanie actively volunteers for her church by teaching Greek dance and actively participates in her son’s youth group.
Scheduling Coordinator - Barbara Pence
Barbara is a native of Colorado and has been in Nebraska for 20 years. She has 13 years experience as a scheduling coordinator in orthodontics. She started with Dr. Stafford in April 1998. Barbara’s comprehensive knowledge and attention to detail allows our front office to run efficiently. She enjoys the opportunity of developing patient relationships with children and adults during their treatment.
In Barbara’s spare time she likes to travel, read and spend time with friends. She is an active volunteer for the Ronald McDonald House Charities and has served as a board member for six terms.
Clinical Coordinator - Jenni Jacobsen
Jenni graduated from Omaha College of Health Careers. She has been working as a certified orthodontic assistant for over 25 years with a brief hiatus to raise her three daughters.
Jenni’s many skills include chair side assisting, retainer fabrication and inventory control. She has been performing these tasks for Dr. Stafford for 11 years.
Family and friends play a huge part in Jenni’s away from work activities.
Clinical Assistant- Katherine Nielsen
Katherine has been a certified chair side assistant in orthodontics since she graduated from Metro Community College. She has worked for Dr. Stafford since May 2005.
Katherine also has a B.S. in geography from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She enjoys traveling, outdoor activities and staying fit. She has several pets to keep her busy at home.
Clinical Assistant- Lori Fillbach
Lori has been a certified orthodontic chair side assistant since 1985. She has been with Dr. Stafford since March 2006. She graduated from the the University of Nebraska- Lincoln and University-Omaha.
Outside of work, Lori stays busy with her three children and two dogs. She loves to be with family and friends, sporting events, boating at the Ozarks, and attending plays and concerts.
Public Relations Coordinator- Shannon Snyder
Shannon is our Patient Relations Coordinator who has been with Dr. Stafford since August 2007. She serves as a liaison between Stafford Orthodontics and other dental practices in town to assure patient communication and customer care.
Shannon’s skills and experience are a wonderful asset to our practice. She graduated from Doane College- Lincoln with a degree in organizational communications and minors in Marketing & Public Relations. She also has an extensive background in dentistry, which includes an Associate’s Degree in dental assisting, managing a hygiene department, and managing general practice treatment schedules.
Most of all, Shannon loves to spend time with her family & friends. She likes to golf, travel, cook and practice yoga in her spare time.
